La Niña has hit us with wet, hot and sticky weather and while that means our summer produce is coming to an end, we are seeing great picks for autumn roll in! Whether you want market fresh flowers or fresh as fruit & veg, we have the fresh as specials for your family table this week!

The bad news is berries have been wet, wet, wet, getting smashed by rain at the moment. Eat them sparingly and eat them quick. The good news is we've got passionfruit coming in from sunny Northern Rivers that are the size of my fist. I'm a small man, so a big man's fist. They are huge and when you slice them open it's like a can of pasito, with beautiful pulp inside. Definitely give those a crack. And the absolute gem of grapes, the seedless black sapphires have arrived and are a must-try this week!

I'll tell you what else kicked off this week, Roma heirloom tomatoes. I call them adult-rated tomatoes because the flavour will blow your socks off. They're a soft eating tomato. They're like an oxheart Tomato bundled up into a cherry tomato. They're that beautiful and on a ticket for $3.99 for a punnet. Paired perfectly with our new fior di latte cheese!

Fish of the week: Wild Barramundi, 350g $15.95
